parklights

the parking light on my 67 will not stay on when i turn on the headlights .all grounds are to bare metal. have tried everything that i can think of except for replaceing the headlight switch.

Do they turn on when you only turn on the parking lots, not the headlights?

They are not supposed to stay on with the headlights on, just not wired that way.

yes they do come on only when the park lights are on . did not know that was the way they where supposed to work. guess that makes me look stupid!thanks for the info.

There have been posts where they can be rewired to stay on. Do a search.
