Question need help making clutch stiff please

i have a 95 with a 3.4 in it,
i put the new clutch and flywheel in it but the clutch pedal wont stiffen up.
i pumped it a million times.
i was told bleeding isnt needed because its hydraulic.
it will go into gear if you force it but thats it.
anyone know why?
thank you

Bleed the slave cylinder four times.
Then, manually compress the the slave, but not to the end, it'll get stuck.
Bleed slave again four times.
Then manually compress the slave and look for bubbles in the master cylinder.
Bubbles appear, re-bleed.

Or, adapt a manual hand vacuum pump to the master reservoir and suck the air from the system.
