Angry 89 IROC Fuel Problems?

Okay i have an 89 IROC 350 TPI and have replaced the starter, the fuel pump, the fuel pump relay, and the Ignition Control Module, and i still can't figure out why my brand new pump will not turn on. We tested the pump before we put the tank back in and it worked fine. I also tested it before i put the axle back together after we put the tank in and now it won't work i don't get it. Any help is apreciated

Re: 89 IROC Fuel Problems?

Assuming the ECM, relay, pump, etc are OK, try checking connections to the Oil Pressure Switch

If that comes unplugged, or is bad, no signal will get to the fuel pump from the ECM.

This is a safety feature: If the engine has no (low) oil in it, it will shut down the Fuel Pump to save the internals..
