Question starting problem

i bought an 87 camaro with a 305 4 barrel. last night i drove it about 2 hrs straight to see family. it is the first time ive drove it that far at once. ran great. when i left started right up. stopped at a gas station before heading home for soda. came out and nothing. it was like it was still in drive ya know absolutely nothing from the starter. tried jumpin it just in case. nothing. so i got to go get a starter after being stranded all night. thought ill try the key just for giggles. fired right up. so i didnt miss a beat drove straight home and backed her in the drive. shut her down and tried to start back up but nothing. same as before no noise at all from the starter like it was left in drive or something. i tried starting in nuetral nothing. any ideas?

fuel isnt getting to the throttle body

my 91 z28 cut off yesterday and i cant figure out why? i have checked the computer so i know its not the injectors. i have been told to look into the fuel pump, fuel filter, clean throttle body, exhaust could be blocked. is there anything else i should look into?

Re: starting problem

didnt mean to post the other message, but it could be the battery or the security chip. i had the same problem and cut the security wire and never had the problem again.
