Fixed: Weed Whip Not Hitting On All Cylinders

It's spring for sure. Got out the weed eater and ran it for about 30 minutes before putting it down to mow. A couple hours later, I tried to start the weed eater and it wouldn't run. At first it would sputter and fart on choke, but refused to run lean. Eventually it wouldn't hit at all - choke or no choke. I pulled the plug - it was a little dirty but ok. I cleaned the plug, put it back in and it wouldn't hit a lick. I pulled the plug again and happened to hear a 'tick'. I looked at the insulator over the center electrode and it had dropped down over the spark gap. No wonder it wouldn't fire.

So if your not hitting on all cylinders inspect those insulators on the cylinder side for looseness. This is the second time in my life I've seen this happen and I've seen quite a few spark plugs.

I've heard about those. I think one cut down some kind of concrete historical marker here.
