Darn Eletrical Gremlin (Gauges went out)

So from my prior post about my trany some of you guys helped me pin point the issue and yall were right. but moving on now Im having and issue with my gauges going out. they will work for a days or 2 and then blow a fuse and i will change the fuse and as soon and i start the car after it blows the firt time it will blow again. so Judging by this i have a short some wear but i have chased ever darn cable i could and cant find and thing. what is even more odd is that my oil gauge works but none of the other do and when the other work the oil gauge goes out so i was thinking maybe they arent working or some thing but last I saw the sensor that hooks up directly above and on the side of the oil filter was broken with the cord dangling and i have the sensor and I am intending on fixing it but im not sure if i need to dumb the oil i just put in it and put the sensor on or if i can just put it in but either way its just wierd that the oil gauge kicks on and the others kick off got any idea guys. she is a great car just some minor issues on top of my current trany rebuild im about to have to do which is the big one. let me know what ya'll guys think thanks Jay
