car died at light? low fuel?

was at a light this morning when my Camaro died. I was pretty low on fuel and sitting with my rear end tilting down as I was on a slight hill.
Also, last night I let the neighbor kid rev the motor by pulling the throttle cable at the carb a few times; but I had driven the car around town earlier this morning. when the car died, there wasn't any sounds from the motor or any other drama. I was able to get it running again and drove around the block and got fuel. thoughts?

Re: car died at light? low fuel?

from your description it very well could have been low fuel. when i got my car it would die when there was 1/4 tank of gas left. i pulled the sender and realized the pickup tube was too short. got the correct sender and everything was fine after.
