1996 v6 help

I have a 1996 camaro conv which I bought off a neighbor and have driven daily for about 1 yr. The car has very high miles, about 230,000. Not sure of history, rebuild etc. I drove into town at lunch about 5 miles and the car cut off at the stop light. I cranked it and it finally started but was sputtering. It died about half a block later and would not resart. Would crank but acted like no fuel. Towed it home and tried several times to start, finally about the third day it fired up and ran fine for about a week. now it will fire and run for 10-20 seconds and die. I've had people tell me its the fuel pump, the relay in the fuel pump, the crank sensor, the fuel filter. I was hoping someone out there may have had or heard of this and may be able to help me. The dash is not showing any warnings, check engine etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 1996 v6 help

Next time it dies check the fuel pressure.
Check for spark.
Its one of the two and will give you a start in a direction.
