rough Idle

last week i was driving my 67 onto the highway as i got to the top of the ramp there was a car there so i jumped in it the responce was normal and trafic was just around the corner stopped so i had to break harder that normal once i stoped the car would not idlel i had to keep my foot on the accellerator to keep it from stalling i got off the hightway went down the post road when i stopped for a light it stalled i pulled over i t started right up i addjusted the idle up a bit . now when it starts cold it doesnt sound normal till it warmsup its a 350 edelbrock intake and heads and carb. the vacuum is 18 at idle very small fluxuationmaybe to 17 im heading to carlilee this weekend i need to get this fixed

Check engine mounts , Float levels, auto choke settings, HT leads on prperly,

i cked the eng and trany mounts there good the leads are good . the floats ? without taking the carb apart i dont have fuel running down the throat and my fuel psi gage just before the carb is holding pressure so the floats are good . the choke is good . the engine runns good after warm and on the road . i have pete jackson gear drive timming gears could i have jumped the timming? i cked with a light it ck goood??? could i have an inturnal vacuum lead???

Doubt if jumped jumped timing...
pull off ht leads and make sure they are fully on.
check all the vac tubes, one hasnt dropped off or loose
It will be something simple.
Im not familar with your carb...but check float levels

also if you have power brakes, you could try pulling the vacuum line to the booster and capping the fitting on the carb or intake

Mine did that when my secondary float stuck. Didn't want to idle bogged on slight acceleration. Mine is doing it now and found out my hei isn't getting 12 volts.

67 camaro, 406 w/ 5.7 rods and forged dish pistons 10-1 w/64cc head, voodoo 60103 cam, 8.5 10 bolt w/373 posi, 350 turbo trans, 1 5/8 headers, 2.5 dual exhaust
