windshield leak

Hi there, I have a 1995 camaro, and I noticed that when it rains really hard, as well as when I wash the car, there's some water leaking inside. It seems to be coming in from the passenger side of the windshield. Is this a problem that I can fix myself, with silicone, or should I take it to a professional?

Re: windshield leak

I'm going with the "professional" approach on this one. Water leaks are death to our cars.

Re: windshield leak

I have a product called Master Series (moisture cured uerathane). In some of the sales lit it's says thin it and pour around the area of the leak. If water can get in so will this when it dries it will stop the leak. I wouldn't use silicone. Cover the dash and floor with paper and plastic if you go this route.
