Steering Wheel Cancel Cam

I'm having some difficulty finding the correct 68 style cancel cam. I been round and rond with RICKS and the one they have pictured for a 67-68 is really a 69 style.

The 68 style has the steering column shaft spring on the top of the cancel cam - as per the assembly manual. The 69 has the spring on the bottom of the cancel cam.

Any recommendation on where to get the proper cancel cam for a 68 non tilt. I tried Checkers and they have a 69 only style.

Also - BTW, the 69 cancel cam also does not fit all the way down the steering shaft. Its inside diameter is a little smaller than the 68 style.

Appreciate the help.....

Re: Steering Wheel Cancel Cam

Here's what I have listed in my spreadsheet:

Firewheel Classics STW-44
Rick's HR-17
Ground Up ICC-7
Classic Muscle Car Parts 4266GM
Super Muscle Parts 9403268

Not sure which is really correct... The last one seems like it is what you/we are looking for. Did you buy a turn switch? Those seem hard to locate, as far as, correct ones...

HR 17 is not correct - spring fits on the bottom, i think its a 69style as well.
