With no input power, large red wire, you might check the connection at the starter solenoid post and the fusible link for integrity. You should be able to use a hefty jumper in f/pump socket to pass power to the f/pump to get f/pump to work, if wire harness to f/pump is good and a good ground connection at fuel pump.
Simple test for VATS, should have headlights but no crank. Wait min 3 minutes, then using the same key, engine should crank.
