Question

I have '96 V6 manual that's cutting out when I accelerate... it's not the spark plug wires. Any ideas? It's also making some grinding noises and jolting a little when it idles. Please help if you have any ideas! I'm new to this. Thanks!

It obviously has to be a connector somewhere and maybe a ground. I would also suspect the positive wire to the coil.

That's about as specific as I can get.

Cool

Welcome to the site.Don't take this wrong but if your 'that new' to this new car wrenching stuff I suggest taking it to a qualified mechanic who has the knowledge to work on today's computer controlled vehicles. If you don't have access to a good scan tool, digital multimeter and at times a labscope then your just 'shooting in the dark'.At the minimum I'd go buy a repair manual before I started messing with anything if I was you.At least then you'll have some understanding about what is going on.Again I only mean well.I've seen it to often where a guy who doesn't know much about fuel injection problems starts asking everyone they can what they think the problem is and gets all sorts of "I think it's this" or "I think it's that" and the poor guy starts changing parts left and right.

Actually, I did take it to the dealership that I bought it at today... I am just trying to learn a few things about the car because I am interested. I'm not working on it myself yet. I appreciate your help and advice!
