Question

I have a 1980 camaro 305 I want to put headers on it what kind of hassle is involved and how hard are they to put on?And what is the easiest brand to install.help me out before I buy a set

They aren't that hard to install. You will have to unbolt the engine from the engine mounts so that you can lift it. Do one side at a time. As far as a brand I would just say don't waste your money on Hooker Super Comps. These are tuned headers...and not worth the money on a 305. Good luck.

i have a 79 camaro with a 305. it has headers on it. i had to remove them to get to the plugs for a compression test. never had to unbolt or raise the motor. i am finding that the starter and plug wires are overheating do to the headers. i will be putting manifolds back on it as soon as i find replacments. the guy i bought the car from broke them when he put the headers on. they are not hard to put on though. as far as type, mine are flowmaster. thats all i know about them, since i didnt put them on to begin with.
