Unhappy

Every couple of days my car would have to be jump started. Lately its every day. I jump start it and it runs, I take it for a good long ride then shut it off come back an hour later and all I get is Click from starter then nothing at all. Please tell me the best path to take to fix this problem. The battery, alternater, and voltage regulator all look brand new. Thanks in advance. MARKO

look's mean nothing, you need to test out the stuff, i would put a battery charger on the batt over night, then take it to some place that will test it for free, like a auto part's store from one of the big chain's or sear's and find out what is wrong.

My voltage regulator looked brand new - when I removed the cover - a little piece of metal fell out -

Seems one of the contacts had fried completely off.

Look under the cover -

I agree with ILBL8 - have the battery and alternator tested by your local parts store - my bet is battery.
