When ever i get on the freeway the car starts to heat up or when I drive around on the road for a long while it heats up. I resently got an oil change and the temp droped a little.
I had resently clean out the throttle body and it runs smother and better but it smokes at a higher rpm.
When I acell. quickly I feel a hard bang in between the driver seat and the passenger seant. I also feel it in the back seats.

i don't know what the smoking and over heating is from, but i think i might know what the bang is. when i first got my car i had the same problem. if you only here the bang when you acclerate fast it might be a broken trans mount. it is not hard to replace and it only cost about $20-30. it is located on your cross member and if i remember correctly it is only held on with one or two bolts. don't count on that being the answer i am not a car expert, but its worth a look

Check the thermostat, did some one take it out? A car will over heat with no thermostat after extended running, You have to slow the flow of coolant, so that it can transfer the heat through the radiator. Is the rad in good shape? Are the fins loose or flaking? if they are you need a new Rad.
