Hey, Any reason why my temp guage is in the red, you can feel the heat coming off the floor boards and coming from underneath the car, but my engine still runs flawlessly even for an extended amount of time?

Hey Radde,
There are many reasons for your car to heat.First thing though what is it,early late or what?

You can run an enging hot for a while as long as it has liquid in it,dry hot does damage quicker.

What ever model it is take the rad cap off when it is cool, and use some kind of thermometer (AC ect) to check temp to see if gague is accurate. Start and warm it up and see what happens.
