Power Steering help!!!

I posted this in the suspension section but no one replied. So I am putting it here in troubleshooting. I know they dont like double posting. Delete the other one if need be.

QUESTION: You get in your car and start the engine. Automatically, the steering wheel turns (all by itself) all the way to the left and locks up. You turn the engine off and restart it and you can then turn the steering wheel.

You turn the car off and go about your business. 30 minutes later you go back and start the car again and the steering wheel automatically turns all the way to the left and locks up again.

What the hell causes this to happen? Have you ever heard of anything like this?
This happened to a friend of mine with his 69 Camaro a couple of days ago and he still doesn't know what is happening with it. I have no idea.
Got any ideas?

You're gonna need an old priest and a young priest.

Or remove, repair/replace your PS box, they're pretty easy to fix.

Re: Power Steering help!!!

One of the valves in the steering box is sticking. There is valve for each direction , R/L, when they stick open you get constant pressure on one side. When driving, it'll feel like the car is pulling to one side.
