Window stripped

I can not roll my window up or down, the handle will just spin. I assumed that the teath on the handle had stripped, but it looks to be the other end that has the issue. "The shaft" that comes out of the door that the handle mounts to, what is that part called and where should I get a replacement....

Thanks,

Re: Window stripped

I think your referring to the "Window regulator" . They differ for standard and deluxe interior. I think most of the vendors carry reproductions or you could look for a used one.

Re: Window stripped

Your first step is to get the door panel off. You can buy the tool, or maybe borrow one, from any auto parts store. Just tell them what you need. They are probably$4 to $5. What ever part you need can be had from any Camaro supplier.
