Question

On the 3rd gen F-bodies with the dual electric fans, which one is the primary fan? I am wanting to splice into the primary fan wire and hook it up to the secondary fan so that they will both come on and shut off at the same time. I have an 87 GTA(sorry but also have 69 RS) with a 350 and just want to cool it down a little quicker. Has any body else done this? If so, any horror stories? Please let me know. Thanks

I spliced the my fan straight to a toggle switch with a light to my fans but still had it hooked up to my regular set up so I could control when my fan came on manuelly while still worked with the regular setup. I mounted the switch right below my lighter. I can keep it from breaking 160 if i wanted too. But keep an I on your temp guage just in case you botched it up.
