I recently bought a 750 Speed Demon and I'm having a problem with the transition from idle to full throttle,a huge stumble.. Before I start diving into it like changing squirters and pump cams I want to know if anybody else had this problem. Well any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

make sure that the thritle plate's are adjusted right! if you have too much transfer slot showing on one this will happen.

also make sure that the idle mix is right, if it is too lean this can happen too.

is the bog on a slow atart or a when you drope the hammer? also is it a DP or a vac secondary? auto or manual tranny?

if you have a DP on a auto tranny i bet this will never go away, also a 750 is kinda big for a 350 SB but ok for a 454 BB. to much carb can cause this too.

IMHO normaly, like 99% of the time/ a carb larger then a 650 on a 350 is wast, most 350SB that are street motor's only have about 85% volumetric efcancy.

i personaly believe that a carb under 650 give's you better responce and performance. but hey that is me! what work's for you is what matter's.

i have a road demon on my 350 and it is a great carb! i love it. i gat the best off the line with a 750 but i get better performance over all with the smaller carb.

On mine, I had a stumble off line, and I swapped around on pump cams and worked it out fine. I have heard that alot about Demons. Try that first, and adjust air/fuel micture.

Thanks guys for your replies they were both very insightful, but I actually figured it out today. I had my brother stand behind me when I foot braked it against the converter to see if I was to rich which it was.So I proceeded to the to the squirters tried a 28 on front little better then put it on the back bingo launched hard as hell!!
