For months one of my fog lights (they aren't the stock ones) has been burnt out. Last night I got bored and decided to fix it. After I put in the new bulb I flicked the switch on and they worked perfectly. I started driving around and after about 20 minutes of them being on I flipped on my high beams and most of my interior lighting went out (guages, radio, shifter). All my other lights worked and even the little high beam light worked. When I turned off the high beams everything came back. I started flicking the switch on and off and it stopped clicking ...broke it, now its stuck on. I tried hooking up another toggle switch but it didnt work. When I unplug the original switch all the lights go out. Do I need to just order a new switch from GM or could it be more than that? How are the fog lights connected to all that other stuff and what would make them do that?

I would start from scratch and rewire your lights.I've had a problem like that and it's from running too much on one circuit.I ended up putting another fuse block in my car just for all my accessories. Now almost everything has it's own switch and there's no problems.
