My 69 camaro has a 454 and a Th350 trans. Its using SB motor mounts and the standard TH350 crossmember. My question is what cross memeber do i use when i install BB motor mounts on the car? Will i just need to modify the Th350 cross member or is there a better way to do this? Any help with this would be great.

Thanks
Mike

Since all small-blocks use the same x-member it is logical that a 454/TH350 could use the same x-member as a bb/4-speed. But they can be a bit pricey and as this is a hot rod you need not bother.

One solution I've heard of is to use a later model 1-bolt trans mount with the standard non-bb x-member which you already have. As the correct bb frame brackets also position the engine about 3/8" forward of the sb location you may have to elongate the hole that lines up best with the trans mount.
