Unhappy

I have an 88 V6 camaro that seems to be shifting hard at any rpm or speed. Some people tell me the drive line is going out or the timing chain. Others say i need to get SMOOTH SHIFT, some kind of store bought fluid. I was thinking of getting the trans flushed, its been a while. What do you guys think? Thanks for any advice...

don't know about the fluids or anything but I would first check the transmission mounts. A broken mount will cause the same type of symptoms you are having. I hope this helps... good luck
