I have a 89 rs 2.8.its pretty biffy to others but getting slow to me. How hard is it to put a shift kit in. And will that make a difference. thanks kevin.

you probably have the TH350 or an early TH700 (not the R4) and I woudlnt recomend it. take it to a trans shop as a shift kit involves drilling into the valvebody to insert check springs and balls to give it a harder gear barking shift. you can try it yourself, but you better try it on a Junkyard valve body so you have a "just in case" recovery.
