just bought a new set of one key fits all for ignition and door locks my dad's 90 camaro. i had installed a set on my 68 with no problem. on the 90 set. i got one key which is pretty long but fits good on the ignition and turns. it is too big or wide or something for the door locks. i went to get copies made and now the copy, which is a bit smaller in length, opens the door locks with no problem but not the switch, this one is too small for the ignition. hope this makes sense, and that someone can help figure out how to make 'one' key work for all like it is suppose to before i install it.

You should just take it to a good lock smith. Are you even sure you can do this with a 90? Lots of cars have chips in ignition keys so they are special purpose. I hope this works for you. Make sure you respond to this and let us (me) know if this works. Thanks.

just my luck. seems to be cheaper to have a locksmith do the job. of course i had to shop around for one. the most was $250 and found one that will do it for $125 plus a discount of $50 if i have a AAA card. even the dealer was a bit steep. the good thing is with doing it with a locksmith, i don't need the new switch, so at least i will return it to offset the cost for it.
