I'm converting my '69 camaro from an automatic to a M-21 4 Speed. Everything is in but I don't see where I am supposed to mount the clutch return spring.

Is there a bracket I need to install or is there a place on the car already that the spring should attach? I have the factory extension wire and spring but it doesn't seem to line up with anything.

Thanks.

Small block-Hook the wire to the hole at the end of the fork, one end of the spring goes on the wire, the other to a small hole in the motor mount frame bracket.

Big block-doesn't use the wire, uses a stamped steel tab that mounts on the forwardmost exhaust manifold stud. Hook the spring to this tab and the clutch fork.

Looks like my engine mount had been replaced (perhaps recall?) and didn't have the hole so we just drilled a new one.

Thanks !
