I have a 87 camaro v6 2.8 MPI injected. The problem im having is when in park i can only get the rpms to around 3000 till it boggs down. and only around 1000 rpms in drive. Seems to be the more gas i give it the more it wants to die. It will eventually sound like it chokes and gags if i dont let off the gas. I have move the TPS up and down so that the manifold flap opens more before it thinks it gets throttle it help a little but still severly boggs down. Im wondering if its the TPS sensor and or is there a certain way to test it with a volt/ohm meter or and other sensor could cause this Thanx.?

Yes there is . go to your local auto parts store and look for the old haynes manual on your car it should have section on testing and give u correct readings etc, also if it jumps around and isnt smooth then it is bad...

Could be as simple as a plugged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. Check the simple things 1st!

375hp 78 Chevy truck
77 Chevy Nova
95 Chevy Lumina 3.4L
and building a 78 Nova
