i have a problem with my 1982 camaro, 350 v8 1978
all my electric stuff works slow , power windows, headlights, turnsignals, even when i start the car it cranks very slow.

my voltage meter gives 13 and above when driving, i replaced the altenator and battery.

when i connect the positive cable to the battery first and then the ground cable it sparks, viceversa same thing...

u know what the prob is here?

thanks

When the engine is cold chase down the short so you wont cut yourself short chasing it. Clean around allot of your contacts in case you are grounding out a power line from wet fluids like down at the starter wires or other places. There are the relays that might be all gunked up also and bleeding power. If you don't have a multi meter now would be a good time to get at least a cheap on. Don't read resistance when power might be on a line. Pop!
