I have 2 69 Rallysport Camaros both with reproduction actuators. I can't get them to work ! They'll go one direction but not the other. I've checked all the lines for leaks and it all seems ok . Someone told me that the repoduction actuators were built wrong and the vendors were still selling them . Is this true , can anything be done to resolve the problem with my cars . HELP !

The system is activated by a 2-way vacuum port on the headlamp switch; if one port is open the other is closed. The port is sealed by small rubber boot contained in a metal slide. The slide has a tab formed at 90ļ to engage the switch. The tab breaks off resulting in only open or only closed. The non-gauge RS h/l switch is still available. Yours should be repaired if the car has factory gauges as the switch is different.
