Question

I have an 88 Camaro rs and it was driving fine until oneday it started overheating and making this loud noise. I later found out by observation that the noise was the radiator forcing fluid back into the external coolent fill tank . It still does this . Could I have a radiator problem or is a hose clogged somewhere?

Check your thermostat. It may be stuck closed.

Cool

I had the same problem with my 92 Z. It turned out to be waterpump wasn't pumping like it should. But it was pumping enough to keep it from leaking from the seep holes on the waterpump.
