Exclamation

I have an '82 Z28. I recently installed a 350. Runs great but when I went to start it yesterday, it fired up and died (normal)when I hit the key again, NOTHING! has headlights, but no power windows now. Have had problems with a loose startee wire before but not now.
Please help.

Unhappy

The starter won't engage at all. Just as if the battery is dead, but it is not. I have also lost my power windows but not my stereo or console clock.

fusible links at the starter could be the problem also.

Cool

I would have to agree with Oger. If your headlights work and battery is holding around 14 volts, it would most likely be the ignition. Check it with a multimeter.
