Does anybody have a shop manual that has the torque specs for the flywheel, bellhousing and trans bolts. I am trying to put it in right now. Thanks.

Flywheel: 47-55 (60 max) ft lbs w/ red loctite

Bell housing: 20-30 ft lbs

Trans bolts: 45-60 ft lbs

Pressure plate: 28-32 ft lbs w/ red loctite

Just as a matter of information, I do not think GM ever mentioned any type of thread locking compound in any of thier torque specs from that era.

For what it's worth, I used ARP flywheel bolts and their assembly lube. They said 75 ft-lbs using assembly lube and 125 using 30 wt motor oil. I understand the factory spec is 65. The lubricant will affect yor torque settings.
