Fuel Pump weak, or maybe a partially plugged Fuel Filter?

Or brake pedal switch that disengages the TCC.

2 questions How does TCC Sol. cause enginr to stall? Looks like an extensive repair, help on what a reputable Xmission shoop would charge?

If the solenoid isn't letting the torque convertor dis-engage, it will stall the engine... It'd be like coming to a stop in a manual trans car without pushing in the clutch.

You could try to disconnect the solenoid to see if it is the problem. Should be a 4-prong plug that goes into the transmission. Disconnecting the solenoid will not allow the torque convertor to lock.

Thanks for the info! What are the ramifications of operating too long / far without solenoid connected?

Higher than normal transmission temperatures that could damage the transmission, however, I ran my 700 for 3 years without a lock-up convertor, and noticed no problems. I'd say you'd be fine to disconnect it, run it out on the highway for a short test, and see if you still have the problem.
