hi, 2nd time on this sub. new hurst 4-sp. new clutch. shifts when engine is off. hard to shift into 1st or rev. when engine is running. told that it could be clutch bearing. idiot that installed new clutch put adjusting rod into view hole. fixed when hurst was installed. does anyone know about 4-speed sag's, i can't find anyone.

Wish I could tell you, cause I have the same problem with my 83 T-5. It seems our transmissions are still turning with the clutch disengaged. I've tried adjusting the clutch with no pedal free play which should disengage the clutch even further. No good.

I thought the clutch could somehow be dragging, but if yours is new, maybe it is the pilot bearing. I can't think of anything else. Let us know. I won't be fixing mine any time soon since I don't drive it very much and so far, I can live with it.
