I have what I thought was a real solid engine. 350 block 30 over,5.7 rods with 10:1 compression hypereutectic pistons,Erson 292/292 duration cam,882 castin heads, victor jr intake, mallory billet distributor, weiand water pump. It ran great until I put on the new carb.

Sounds like your carb was running rich, and this could have fouled out your plugs. Pull them all and take a look at them, I bet they are all black and sooty, and smell of gasoline. This will cause the "dead" cylinder you were talking about in your other post, maybe more than one. If you have the old carb, or another one you can use, change all your plugs and try another carb. I bet the carb is the root to all your problems. KZ

Where did you get 882's from? I thought they were 441's.
