Please Help, I have a 1991 S10 with a 1996 Z-28 Lt1 installed. Did the installation myself.Things have gone fairly smoothley until now. The engine starts, runs for approximately 10 to 15 seconds, then dies. I checked all of the wiring, and it appears to be right. The fuel pressure is at 45 psi after the regulator. I changed the coil, and the ignition module. Still does the same thing (only starts stronger now) The only thing that I don't have installed is the 3rd and 4th heated oxygen sensors that go after the Cat Converter. Someone told me that the computer may be shutting down the engine because they are missing. Is this true, or another shot in the dark? By the way it is a 6 speed tranny also. The engine idles and revs and sounds perfect while it runs, but then it is almost like someone turns off the engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The o2's will not affect the running, or cause it to die. You need a VATS delete box, this is the anti theift that is built into the ECM, and will need to see a signal to fool it into thinking it sees the resistor in the key. Email me if you need more help.
