Help!!!

Hey yall
01 v6 automatic driving down the road when you let up on the gas I can hear apopping sound maybe two or three times ,that almost sounds like a frame noise. I have checked the u joints its not them, the pinion yoke does have more slack than I think it should have but it doesnt sound like a rear end noise nor drive line clang. I have done everything bit turn the car upside down & cant find JACK!!!!! Now every once in a while it will sound as if the noise is with the motor rpm & no it aint comin from the motor .

Re: Help!!!

Hi
-do you have good clearance between the exhaust and the driveshaft?
-motor mounts?

other than that I would say the u joints , but you checked those.

I'm with you...I hate mystery noises
