This may sound like a dumb question, but i am trying to remove my speedo from my 86 z28. i can't get the white instrument panel out far enough to get behind the speedo to get the cable off, it feels like if i pull any harder, somethings going to break. hope you guys can help!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are sure everything is disconnected and is the speedo cable holding, loosen cable at trans for more slack. Remember if you can't get your hand in there to take it apart how you going to get in there to put it back together which is always harder
