On my 88 2.8 v6 stalls when the motor is warmed up, On cold starts it runs fine....
I was told it was the I-M...Is there any ways to check it to see if its bad?.....thanks

Next time it stalls, take a test light....

Near the distributor/firewall area, you will see a white wire sticking out of a harness, and empty connector. This is the tach wire. Probe connector terminal with test light.

When cranking, light should pulse...if it doesn't, it's a bad module... or wiring to the module.

I just thought I'd mention the pick-up coil in the distributor could also cause hot stalling.

This might be a good time to just replace the distributor with a rebuilt unit that would already have a new module and pick-up coil.
