I am told that my 1996 Camaro RS Convertible PUMP for use with the roof needs replacing. Please can anyone advise me and point me in the right direction tpo obtain.(old or new).

Look up a repair shop for hydrolic cylinders and pumps. If you have a good one around there they could redo all the seals or even alter an existing pump to fit your needs. You might have the roof up or down in 1 second flat.
