I have 89 Camero 2.8 inj. It sometime dies when fan comes on and backfires thru exaust. Hooked up aux switch to fan. But does the same thing. Shop can't fix it. After 3 trys and $ later. If i turn on the AC, it does the same thing. Usually does it when temp is 220. It also effects the idle speed when this happens. It will restart right away. And sometimes pumping the gas will pull it out of the situation. HELP

This is far fetched, but it almost sounds like the fan is using so much current there isnt enough to operate the ECU system and/or the igition system.
