2002 Camaro heat and ac issue

I have a 2002 Camaro with a heater and ac issue. When using the heat or ac the air blows out fine and then all of a sudden it quits blowing. Sometimes it comes back on after a long while. I can hear air trying to come out but it doesn't. I've had my car to 3 mechanics and they can't find anything wrong. Of course the heat and ac work fine when the mechanics drive my Camaro. Very annoying. Any suggestions??

Sounds like the Evaporator is freezing-up and preventing air circulation - and - the A/C compressor will be running even in heating cycles if you have the dual climate control type system ...
You can try shutting off the compressor using the A/C 'off/on' button (that flower/star symbol in temp. selection controls) on a day you need Heat, and see if the system air flow decreases like you have been seeing - if it doesn't, then you can guess it's the evap. freezing.
Have the shop check the A/C charge - it's most likely low on Freon

Slight chance it could also be a Vacuum issue - all the 'mix' doors are controlled by vacuum, so a leak will cause doors to be in wrong position.

If a man says something in the garage - and his wife can't hear him - is he still wrong !!!
