Question

Last week I was racing someone and when I got out of it, it let out two horrible backfires thru the exhaust. I have a couple of reasons for it doing this but not positive. Any feed back would definitely be appreciated. Thanks in advance Jim

Mine liked to do that when an exhaust leak was coming up front. As soon as you left off the gas, the exhaust pulls IN a bit of cool air from outside and you get a pop. Mine usaully came from a header gasket.
