I didn't know which topic to list this under... I kinda have a problem... I took my 1991 (3.1) camaro into the shop and had some electrical work done... turned out to be the computer... he gave me a computer he had laying around which was the updated for my camaro, has wrong prom, one in original was blown. For now the car runs but very rough and shifts weird... kinda like 3-4 shifting and hunts for 1-3. Anyhow he said to get a new one from GM. Well in the mean time he turned in my comp for core and it turn out I needed the # on the prom to order a new one cause there were multiple proms for my year and eng setup. What can I do now? I need to know how to find what prom went into my car. GM is telling me there is nothing the can do for me. original comp is a 12-27-730
