my 1974 camaro rs recently quit at a redlight it is getting gas to the carbuerator but no fire through the distributor i checked the coil in distributor and replaced the ignition module ,the motor turns over but still no fire, any ideas as to what the problem is?

Try this first: Make sure you have power at the dist cap connector marked "battery" with the ignition on.

it could be the pickup coil inside the distributor. there are very fine wires inside the pickup coil that can break. It is tested with a ohm meter, it should read in a specified range. I don't have the specs, sorry.
