My 1991 Camaro RS with the V6 cranks fine but will not start. I have a good spark to the plugs. All fuses are good. I can not find a fuse to an electric fuel pump. I switched the 3 relays around and still would not start. Does my 1991 Camaro have an electric fuel pump or a mechanical pump as standerd equipment?

Your Camaro has an electric fuel pump located inside the gas tank. When you initially turn the key to the run position you should hear the fuel pump go on for a few seconds. It doesn't pump when you crank the engine.

Best way to check for fuel pressure is look for the fuel pressure test port located on the fuel log. It will have a cap on it with a valve step core, just like a tire. Usually located on the back side of the intake.

Preferred method is to hook up a fuel gauge to check for pressure. You could also just depress the valve core and see the line is pressurized and fuel comes out.

Thumbs up

DID you check the fuse beside the battery its your fuel pump fuse. Its in a black case kinda like an amp fuse protector.

Hope this helps

The fuse checked out good so it must be the fuel pump gone out.

when you turn your ignition on do you hear your fuel pump cuting on. If so jack the car up in the rear and tap on the gas tank with a rubber hamer. Sometime it will jar it and fire over..
