Until yesterday all my lighting system worked well. Today I noticed that I have no brake lights. I tracked the problem down to the brake switch. I will get a new switch tomorrow. I used a jumper wire in the brake switch connector and noticed that only the left side brake lights were working. Both the right and left signal lights work as well as the tail lights. I have a new rear harness installed so I do not believe that there are any wires cut. I also cleaned the ground wire for the rear harness at the center trunk stiffener (in front of the fuel neck). Any ideas on the cause of this problem?

Checked the turn signal switch took everything apart cleaned and lubed it problem was still there. Again checked the connector between the dash and rear light harness one pin was pushed back ever so slightly, pushed it back in problem gone.
