i have an 89 rs with a 1993 350 motor in it when i run the car for a while and it gets hot and park it it wont start its like i have no battery in but in about a half hour of sitting it starts rite up ive changed the scencer on the fire wall 2 times the scencer in the head above the starter is gone and wire is capped off and i installed a fan switchscencer odorinto the radater to turn the fan on and off (it has an ajustment on it )is there a nother scencer i should be changing

It is most likely your starter solenoid, getting a case of heat soak.Do a search on this topic it has come up many times.

i agree with 67drake. i just had the same thing happen to me with my 68. after some city driving turned the car off for a few minutes. then nothing when i tried to restart it. had to let it sit for almost 2hours before the solenoid was cool enough to start. I just ordered a starter heat sheild, hopefully this will solve the problem.
