Question

I have a few problems with my '85 Camaro Z/28. One thing is when I push the trunk switch inside the car it won't unlatch the trunk. I can't figure out why. Another is on the dual power mirrors. When I try to ajust them on the switch not one well move like its not getting any power. Same thing with the power doors. They won't lock or unlock with the switch.

Thanks
Ryan

Check your fuses....I'd be willing to bet that all of these accessories run off the same fuse.

All the fuses are alright. I replaced all of them a couple days ago hoping it would fix it but it didn't. And thank you Justin.

The dome light does not work either. Is it the one with an orange and white wires going into a circular plugin thingy?

Cool

Wiggle and/or push shift level in Park or Neutral. Electric trunk won't work if not in one of these positions.

Your gas lifts on your trunk are probably just worn out if all your electrical is fine. Those glass hatches are pretty heavy. If this is the problem your hatch will only stay open when it's in the full up position, it will shut on it's own from the weight if only half way open.

The dome light ,typically has a org. and white wire. The dome light is also on the same fuse as the hatch, horn, cig. lighter, trunk release.Does any of these things work?

That's what happened to my 84. Still can't figure it out. I took the whole console apart, checked connections and still nothing. The realy strange part was that at the same time, my car wouldn't start either. Turn the key, and nothing, I would get a power drain as if it was turning over, but nothing would hapen. I have since had to make a seperate ignition button that only works with the key in. Consiquently, my reverse lights went out too. Bulbs, fuses checked okay...??
